William F. (Bill) Pfuderer “Navy Officer”:
was a celebrated fixture in the theatre community since his moving to Austin
in the 70s to teach theatre at
St. Edward's University.
He worked on a multitude of Austin
stage productions as actor, director,
set designer, and costume designer. Pfuderer also supervised the cultural
affairs program for the City of Austin
Parks and Recreation Department in
the 80s through the mid 90s, and was
a longtime producer and director of
the Zilker Summer Musical.
